As many of you will already know from our monthly newsletters, Brad West and his good friend Henry Sparshott have just finished the challenge of a lifetime. Together, the brave duo drove from the UK to Mongolia in their black Kia Rio all in aid of the Stroke Association.
Having been a great employee for Choralis, we decided to do our bit and sponsored the guys on their incredible journey. This meant that the Choralis logo was displayed on the back bumper for the entire journey so even though we weren’t there in person, we were definitely there in spirit.
Although Brad and Henry certainly made us jealous with some of their shenanigans, it was clear that it wasn’t all plain sailing and they had to face some very difficult times. It was a gruelling journey for the duo and there were many mishaps along the way to keep things interesting.
Although the guys just about made it to Mongolia in one piece, unfortunately the same can’t be said for their poor car. From strange noises and knackered read shocks to a clutch that keeps slipping into first gear and a bumper that was being held on by a mere piece of string – it certainly was eventful.
To find out all about Brad and Henry’s action-packed expedition from the UK to Mongolia, feel free to take a read of their blog or follow them on Twitter. All their hard work has been done in aid of the Stroke Association so if you would like to show your support, any donations, no matter how big or small will be greatly appreciated by Brad and Henry.
