Senior Credit Controller

Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit a senior credit controller

The Company: is an immediately recognizable brand and have a presence all over the world. With Headquarters based in the US and representation in nearly every country in the world.

The Position: Based at its European Headquarters in London, you will work within a team responsible for collections across the company's global customer base.
Core duties will be to ensure the timely collection of outstanding invoices and correct allocation of customer payments, within the contracted terms and conditions. Operate and maintain an efficient system of debt chasing. Record and respond to customer queries and monitor slow moving accounts, recommending payment plans and revenue deferrals. Account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of unpaid receivables.
Ensure withholding taxes are correctly accounted for and certificates are received timely and liaise with Tax authorities in UK and European jurisdictions. Ad hoc reports and projects as required.

The person:- Commercially astute, confident and outgoing, with strong influencing skills. Comfortable in an international environment reporting to director level. Develops relationships through regular meetings and communications with Sales Managers, operational staff and client accounts. Experienced in Credit Control with a (min 10 years) familiar with dealing with 'withholding tax' and 'certificates of residency', desirable, as would be a 2nd European language (German)but not a prerequisite. Self-motivated, able to work under pressure and prioritise deadlines, with an eye for detail when reviewing contracts and T&C's, previous experience dealing with tax authorities useful.(good excel skills) SAP (BI and FSCM) an advantage.
