Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit an Operations Analyst -
The Company: is part of a dynamic fast growing management group with operations all over world. Established for over 25 years the company employ a dynamic team of professionals and have over $1b of assets under management. Based a 2 minute walk from the local station, would suit someone looking to avoid commuting into London, or who would like to reverse commute out of London.
The role:- Reports to the Operations Manager and will manage the daily trade reporting cycles, order management systems, pricing and trade fund analysis/reconciliations. A varied operations and administrative role supporting the fund managers with the day to day operations business. Client reporting, Trade settlements, data mining & manipulation (excel), cashflow analysis providing key information to support the business decision making process, whilst supporting the research team gathering analysis and data reporting using excel models.
Assist with the month end close off and maintain key spreadsheets for monitoring and making accurate trading reports. Office management -including dealing with IT suppliers, buying, office supplies etc.
The person: Must have advanced Excel skills, comfortable working within a small professional team, with at least 3 years' experience in financial services, or related commerce and industry experience.
A detail minded, passionate individual keen to get involved and work alongside the investment analysts. Bright, keen, proactive, a self-starter, accurate, understands improving systems, processes and controls. A logical thinker with good problem-solving abilities, hard working, organised and efficient.
(Pivot tables and use of Macros) - experience of building complex spreadsheets.
