The company:- With nearly 20 years in the Telecoms Services space, our client is one of the fastest growing companies in the UK. Over the last 5 years they have expanded all over the UK and further Europe. The company provide operational, technical and maintenance support, network implementation, design and optimisation services to some of the biggest names in the Telecoms arena. incl:- BT, O2,EE, Nokia and Ericsson. With a network of support offices in the Midlands, North West and headquartered in Cambridge, the business is now ready to roll out further expansion plans and continues to enjoy a market leading position.
The Role:- Is a newly created role for a growing subsidiary within the Group.
You will have overall responsibility for growing the team significantly by recognising and hiring support teams for critical projects. Provide direction and encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks. Assist management with the recruitment and retention processes and contract arrangements.You will be the first point of contact for new hires and oversee team members work for quality and guideline compliance. Develop strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals. You will be required to generate detailed reports about team progression performance, expansion plans and mission-related objectives for senior management to forecast present and future skill and headcount requirements. Provide a quality internal customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling and resolving any hiring issues.
The person:- Graduate or MBA, possibly qualified CIPD or a senior entrepreneurial internal recruiter with inspirational leadership skills. Self motivated, with strong relationship building and influencing skills. Potentially from a shared service centre, internal recruitment or HR background with a strong understanding of how a high volume, fast paced contracts work place ticks.
Ideally with a large company background, (telecoms useful), a hard working, adaptable, results driven individual, with experience in sales, interviewing skills, knows what looks right and identifies qualifications and person fit.
