Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit an Interim FP &A Manager

The Company:- Is a leading international multi-channel retailer. The company was founded over 25 years ago and the group generate revenues in access of £400m.It employs a workforce of over 3000 from over 1200 sites. Their customers list as some of the biggest corporates in their sector. In the UK, the company operates from over 200 outlets and manufacturing sites which serves some of the UK's leading corporates in their sector.

The role:- Reports to the UK CFO and will provide support and analysis on various projects
incl:- supply chain, labour costs, salaries and wages, profit and risk analysis, standard costings and review current reporting processes and controls. An experienced planning analyst with a hands on get involved approach comfortable hitting the ground running and taking early responsibility.
A problem solver with an eye for detail, assist with driving improvements in the efficiency and accuracy of profit and job forecasting and support the preparation of material for the UKFD. Challenge the business on variances, profit, labour costs and deviations to plan and recommend improvements. Support the business with insights, growth initiatives and decision-making processes, reporting across multiple companies / business units
Provide Adhoc analysis/project work as required

The person:- Graduate, qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA, with exposure in change management and at least 5 years in a similar FP&A role. Strong analysis and costing skills, with previous experience of reviewing, analysying and recommending areas of improvements on job and supply chain costs, materials, inventory and labour costs in particular.
Comfortable leading from the front and taking early responsibility with strong people manager skills. Strong desire to improve and implement best practices to ensure effective and efficient analysis and controls are achieved. A resilient hands on individual with knowledge of digital technologies, Advanced Excel (lookups/pivot tables)
The role is home and office based.
