Financial Accounting Manager

The role:- reports to the financial controller and will take immediate responsibility for managing the Treasury, Balance sheet and the Accounts Payable functions of the business. Financial reporting, Foreign currency management, daily reconciliations of all product bank accounts, managing and monitoring cash funds, assist the Financial Controller with the month end preparation, year end and the Statutory Accounts. Recommend and implement best practices to ensure a smooth flow of information is achieved and support the wider finance function with ad hoc projects and analysis.

The person:- Finalist, newly qualified CIMA/ACCA or QBE with relevant industry experience in epayments, treasury, foreign currency, IT or electronics. Comfortable taking early responsibility for ensuring accuracy in a high volume transaction environment. A resilient individual, commercially aware, with excellent planning and organisational skills. Results orientated, a strong influencer comfortable challenging how things are done and use their initiative to get results. Strong financial accounting background with advanced Excel, Dynamics experience useful. The role offers 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, attractive pension options and hybrid working arrangements.
