Finance Manager

Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit a Finance Manager.

The Role: will be focused on the ongoing need to streamline processes and controls and fully exploit the benefits of the new SAP finance system. This is a hands-on role and the successful candidate will manage, mentor and lead the local R2R finance team for monthly closing of HQ and all branch accounts, (including variance analysis with commentary for Group Finance). Managing the R2R outsourced partners to ensure quality of all record-to-report functions including fixed assets, balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, share services accounting processes. Perform reviews of financial processes, controls and procedures, recommending improvements and implement best practices. Ensure the accuracy of the accounting and control information held in and reported from the organisation's accounting systems
Intercompany balances, JSOX reporting, IFRS 16 accounting for Group will all be part of this exciting role.

The person: Graduate, qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA with at least 3 years post qualified experience. Well presented, confident presentation skills, comfortable working in a small h/o corporate team reporting to the CFO. SAP experience and IFRS16 reporting is very desirable and R2R experience is important. A strong finance manager with an eye for detail, good analysis skills, comfortable challenging how things are done. A hands on manager who can use their initiative, prioritises their workload and get things done.
Flexible hands-on approach needed, Good Excel skills - VLookups, Pivot Tables preferred.
