Park Royal Finance Manager £60-£65,000 + Benefits
Our client is an entrepreneurial distribution business, manufacturing and selling to retailers across the UK. A high profile is now available within the finance team with an emphasis on developing insightful management reporting and analysis, process and systems improvement and building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders across the group. Going forward there will be projects around financial planning and analysis and implementing robust cost centre reporting to generate accurate P+L accounts for the business streams. Key duties include:
Job Specific Responsibilities:
*Prepare accurate, timely management accounts.
*Conduct monthly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
*Full variance analysis by account and cost centre.
*Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary
*Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
*Remote communication with team members abroad.
*complying with legal requirement e.g. VAT and Intrastat
*Manage liquidity cashflow within the group.
*Payroll journals and analysing movement of FTE and cost.
*Meeting external audit requirements.
*Ad hoc work.
The successful candidate will ideally have had good exposure to general ledger systems and have strong technical accounting skills. You should have good commercial skills and the willingness to develop the role to enable better decision making. You will also have strong relationship management skills as this role interfaces heavily with the business owners and local operations. Experience of working with inventory is ideal as is exposure to working with the banks.
