Description

Our Client is a major UK business based in Waltham Abbey. There is now a key role for An Application Support analyst offering 2nd line support across the diverse group operations.Key duties include:

*Provide 2nd line technical support for Microsoft and Apple desktops and laptops.
*Provide efficient support for the running for information systems in line with agreed business service levels.
*Manage, initiate, co-ordinate, and escalate internal support request tickets.
*Record and update all support requests within company's service desk application.
*Troubleshoot and repair / fix (where possible) hardware, software and network issues. Escalating issues to other IT team members when necessary.
*Create and maintain IT systems documentation.
*Liaise with third party IT suppliers as required to resolve any software or hardware issues.
*Setup configuration of laptop and desktop hardware (Microsoft and Apple) to company standards.
*Administration of Active Directory user accounts.
*Assist in proactively finding ways to improve the companies IT functions.
*Work with Infrastructure Manager to ensure the correct infrastructure is in place for hosted applications.
*Work with the Infrastructure Manager to ensure applications and systems are correctly patched / updated to required levels.

This is a varied role and the will require an individual who is good at multi-tasking in a fast paced environment.
